European Research Council Synergy Grant

The European Research Council (ERC) Synergy Grant is the most prestigious research grant in Europe, with only six such projects (to 2024) having been funded in Norway. Funded with €12.5M by a ERC Synergy Grant, the Into the Blue (i2B) project (2024-2030) will deliver a ground-breaking, synergistic framework to address: “Why and what were the global ramifications of a “blue” (ice-free) Arctic during past warmer-then-present-climates?”
